Ok, Firstly i just like to state that a very similar thing happened to me as well. Except in my case I relized the very thing that you need to realize. Basically think of it this way, if you liked this girl for over 3 years and never had the nerve to ask her out, make a move on her, or simply just tell her your feelings. Then no offence but you deserve what happened to you. You see, if you want a girl then you have to act on your wants. You can't be angry with your friend because he hasn't done anything wrong by you. YOU DON'T OWN HER, ill repeat YOU DON'T OWN HER. If you didnt want her to date other people, then she should have been dating you. ill repeat that too. If you didnt want her dating other guys, then she should have been dating you. But since she wasn't dating you at the time, then you have no reason to be angry at anyone but yourself for not acting on your own feelings. There's a simple saying that i have for this and heres how it goes. "too late, no date, so sad, too bad, start yelling "SHIT", and get over it!" I hope ive helped. but seriously this isn't meant to offend you, just simply open your mind a little bit to a different angle on you situation.

P.s I do feel your pain though, the situation sucks. Just be a bit smarter next time. And if you like a girl, for god's sake do something about it.
