hey man i used to have the same problem, im 14 though
this could take like about a month but it works for me every time. what you need to do is forget about basketball unless it your at least half way good and you like playing it and dont worry about the skating. now to the part about getting her to like you, what you need to do is get pretty good friend and start sitting with her and her friends at lunch or just hang out around her with your one friend (make sure that you only bring one friend otherwise you may have some compition)
then you need to make friends with her and her friends. then you just wait until you know a lot about her and until your good friends with her.(but mainly her) then you just ask her out. and everything elese should just fall into its place.
